construction
phase inspections for new homes.

Consulting Service:
We will review the house plans with you to
determine what items you need or want that is not standard for the home
builder. (extra's) We will try to help you make an informed
decision on the value of or the necessity of add-on components. Most
builders tend to mark up extra's very high for increased
profits or so that their employee's don't have to do different things than
their standard installation.

Pre-Contract Consulting:
We will discuss things to look at and discuss with the builder/salesperson,
before signing the contract for a new home. (The
contract should be reviewed by a Real Estate Attorney.)

|
Foundation inspections:
The foundation walls will be inspected to
determine if they are installed properly, straight, and are of proper
size and height to match the plans.

|
Rough framing:
The rough framing will be inspected to make sure that the framing is in
sound condition, is installed properly, that there are no missing studs or
nailers, and that the structure is built to code.

|
|
Pre-dry wall:
(after
the insulation is finished)
The building will be inspected to identify defects and deficiencies in
insulation, sealing of holes, ventilation, etc. The Structure, Framing, Roofing,
Plumbing, Heating, Cooling and Electrical will be inspected for proper
installation.

|
Pre-Settlement Inspection:
(preferably 3 to 5 days before settlement)
The final punch list inspection, any component that is not completed or that
is completed improperly will be identified. Also, included will be the
proper operation and installation of all the systems of the home.

|
One year WARRANTY:
(punch-list inspections)
The house will be inspected before the one (1) years warranty expires, to
make sure the construction of your house, the systems, etc. was completed
according to code, law and properly accepted building procedures. |
New Home
Inspections are charged on an hourly basis with a minimum for
each site visit.
